Just before spotting the chic black metal hen house and simple wooden garden containers at the Green House area of the Stockholm Furniture Fair, I had seen another nifty solution to space-poor urban gardening - these clever coated fabric garden container bags - the Bacsac - at Maison Objet.

Unfortunately there was little light and my photos were dreadful, so how happy was I to spot these great items this past week at my favorite Paris store in the Upper Marais, Merci? So practical and compact they are that you could easily grow your veg on a small terrace or balcony. 

Flexible, weightless and portable, they will keep any ecologically-minded green person happy as they are 100% recyclable, permeable and limit evaporation (so water saving).
