Just when good local book shops are closing and publishing is in deep difficulties, how exciting to find a beautiful new shop for books in one of my favorite Paris stores, Bon Marche!  A huge space which had last been the Christmas shop is now not only a sensational large new book shop (all in French, sadly, for us non-French readers) plus an area for notebooks, file folders, writing paper, desk accessories, beautiful papers, paper art, and everything else relating to writing and reading, including lovely big sofas to sit and browse.

Including these amazing paper art chandeliers, floating above our heads like great puffy cream clouds.
