Lunch Box Design
Sometimes the plain cleverness of a design makes you want it, desperately, even though you may have absolutely no use for it. But there it is. Sensational.
So it was when I spotted this nifty little blue plastic lunch box in a local shop, Moo Too (yes, I know, silly name, but there is a sister shop, Mad Cow, close by also, and they do have nice things).
By Black + Blum, a UK/Scandianvian design partnership housed in the Oxo Tower here in London, the lunch box (which comes in lots of colours - and there is also a clever carry bag that folds out to be a picnic or an office table mat) is just one of a batch of instantly covetable items which can be seen on their website. Have a look.
And for kids at Moo Too: Sheep banks (instead of piggy banks) because, as the label says, "why should pigs have all the money?
