Stop number 2 off Eurostar this week was the beautiful new (well, 2 months old) Bon Ton shop at 5 Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire, 75003 Paris, in the Upper Marais right by Filles du Calvaire metro stop. I didn't have time to see it on my last trip and wish I had as it is spectacular - 3 floors of an old building with its high ceilings, huge windows and lovely solid staircases. There is everything here for kids from babies to almost teens, including cakes and cookies, a hairdresser, toys, furniture and accessories and other fun things, all displayed in lots of space with lots of colour.
My favorite of all is the measure your height wall in the basement - each child's height marked with name and date (who doesn't have a treasured wall at home like this - impossible to paint over!!! Ever!!!)
This is the 5th Bon Ton in Paris - the others are on the rue de Grenelle and rue du Bac on the Left Bank - and irisistable for anyone with a child somewhere in the family or with friends'.
